Diana Jun, NP

After graduating magna cum laude with a degree in Biochemical pharmacology and psychology from SUNY Buffalo, Diana attended UMDNJ obtaining a third degree in nursing. She then worked for 5 years in a level 3 neonatal intensive care unit as a staff registered nurse at Jersey City Medical Center. While working full time as a NICU nurse, Diana attended Rutgers University obtaining a masters in nursing practice. Since graduating as a nurse practitioner, Diana has worked at various integrative practices specializing in pain management. Diana manages medical care of patients including assessment, counseling, education regarding medications and treatments, ordering of lab and diagnostic tests. Together with the team of dedicated providers at Starr Sports, care plans are created for treatments and goals.

Diana is skilled in Assessing, diagnosing, and treating a number of conditions including fibromyalgia, headaches, neck and lower back pain, myofascial pain syndrome, and acute trauma and injuries. She also locates trigger points and areas of muscle spasm by manual palpation injecting a local anesthetic into points to treat pain.

During her free time, Diana is an avid reader and enjoys various outdoor activities. Her main passion is traveling.
